She was involved in teaching and promoting the study of English in China and has worked alongside the British Council and the English-Speaking Union. She is currently Chairman of the Hampshire Historic Churches Trust. |

Dame Yvonne Moores, DBE |
Dame Yvonne Moores is a former Chief Nursing Officer for England and Director of the NHS playing a key role as advisor to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Health on a range of issues related to policy and improving the quality of clinical services.
Amongst her many involvements, Dame Yvonne acted as a consultant to the United Nations and the World Health Organisation. Currently she is co-ordinating a partnership between Poole Hospital and Southern Sudan. |
