My research interests can be grouped into four themes: 1) organizational learning and knowledge, 2) entrepreneurship and small business management, 3) e-commerce, and 4) the knowledge economy. I am interested in actor-network theory as a social science research approach to the study of organisations and markets. My current project is a qualitative study of e-commerce entrepreneurship, focusing on online retail startups in the South of England. As part of the Atlantic Net project funded by the European Union?s INTERREG IIIB Programme, I developed the content and the interactive tools for the Surviving Startup website (see related links).
