Profile

My professional experience has been directing public relations for major organisations in the forefront of change within the UK broadcasting industry, combining corporate affairs, media relations, consumer and celebrity PR. Since joining Bournemouth University in 2004, my areas of expertise have expanded to include how media industries market themselves within a fast-moving digital environment, the use of propaganda, post-modern approaches to understanding public communication and how network theory can help us make sense of the online public sphere.
