Staff Erasmus funding 2009-10

BU is committed to fostering a global outlook. As a member of staff you are encouraged to engage in international activities which will help you to develop as global citizens, develop your cultural awareness and create an environment which is supportive of internationalisation.

As part of this Internationalisation Strategy, BU is currently participating in the EU funded Erasmus Mobility Programme which provides financial support towards student and staff visits to BU partner institutions in Europe.

The Erasmus funding is coordinated through the Centre for Global Perspectives and the amount awarded to BU for staff visits in 2009-10 is:

  • Staff teaching assignments - €8,260
  • Staff training assignments - €3,150

This funding is limited and will need to be shared out across all Schools / departments. To ensure that this process is carried out fairly, interested staff need to submit bids for the funding.

Apply for funding

Please complete the Erasmus bid form (Word doc) electronically, then have this signed as appropriate and submit this to Deborah Velay in D234, Dorset House, Centre for Global Perspectives, Talbot Campus.

Deadline

The deadline for submission of the bids is Friday 6th November 2009.
