Parking at Bournemouth UniversityThe University Travel Plan 2008-2012 is committed to providing real and affordable travel choices for staff and students so that the number of cars arriving at the University can be reduced and car parking can be managed within current levels of provision. VisitorsA limited number of reserved visitor spaces will be available in Car Park 1, at the front of Poole House for Talbot Campus, and at Bournemouth House, for Lansdowne Campus. The relevant reception desk will require 2 working days notice (whenever possible) to reserve spaces. Requests from Schools and Professional Services will require confirmation through an e-mailed Visitor Form which is accessible in Outlook by clicking on File – New – Choose Form – Visitor Parking Request. Spaces are limited and will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Talbot Campus: A number of unreserved pay & display visitors spaces will also be available in Car Park 1 at Talbot Campus. These spaces will again be first come, first served and will be available at a cost of £2 for up to 4 hours and £4 for over 4 hours. All visitors arriving at Talbot Campus with an unreserved parking space will be directed to the pay and display spaces. Lansdowne Campus: All external visitors to the Lansdowne Campus with unreserved parking must be advised in advance to use on-street parking (time limited) or the pay and display car parks in the immediate local area.
