Health & Social Care StudentsThis page contains information for students studying on the following courses:
Nursing and midwifery students are urged to seek accommodation within their locality. Accommodation dependent on locality is available in a variety of ways. You will need to arrange the accommodation yourself. Many students who study Nursing and Midwifery choose to be accommodated in the staff residences adjacent to the major hospital central to their location. If you are based at Bournemouth or Poole Hospitals and prefer to apply for a place in University accommodation you may do so. The University's Abbotsbury House is a development of 34 en-suite rooms being offered primarily to Nursing and Midwifery students. Corfe House is a new block of five and six bedroom flats, built in a beautiful location near Poole harbour. You may prefer to look for accommodation in the private sector through the Private Lets Register. There is also a list of letting agents and contacts specifically for Nursing students. |
