University Managed Housing (Unilet) University Residences

The University manages a range of shared houses that conform to standards set by us to meet all legal safety requirements.

Students will be allocated a room in a shared house.

  • The property will be within four miles of the University’s main campus.
  • The letting agreement and 41 week licence is with the University
  • Rent is paid direct to the University termly by Direct Debit or debit/credit card.
  • Houses are checked and conform to our standards.

Students are required to agree to the Terms & Conditions of the offer for the Period of Residence and abide by the Unilet Rules (1.32mb pdf) .

This is a contractual agreement and you will therefore be liable for the rent for the entire period of the residence, as detailed in the offer .

The Accommodation Office also has a Private Lets Register of properties in the area to help students who intend to let a property privately from a landlord.

Unilet Messageboard

The Unilet Messageboard is a communication point for all students in Unilet shared houses in the area.

It will be monitored and we reserve the right to refuse access to anyone posting unsuitable comments.
