Telephone Campaign

Student callers in action

Every year, teams of Bournemouth University students call alumni, friends and family of the University across the UK.

These telephone calls aim to give friends of BU an opportunity to stay involved and contribute to the University's future success.

Through the calls, we've also raised thousands of pounds to further enhance student life at BU and invest in our priority areas.

Our calls give alumni a chance to:

  • Share experiences of life both at University and since leaving
  • Find out the latest news from BU and the Alumni Association
  • Support fellow BU students through donating to our charitable fund, The Bournemouth University Foundation
  • Get involved in a range of other activites

 

Our Callers

All our calls are made by current students of BU, who really do enjoy the chance to speak to alumni.

We've found that callers and alumni alike enjoy swapping tales of their time spent studying at BU. Hearing about how alumni have progressed in their lives and careers is a particular highlight for our callers.

Many of our callers have even made gifts to The Bournemouth University Foundation themselves, after becoming aware of how such gifts can make a positive impact at their university.
