The BSc Archaeology degree at BU is, in my opinion, the best and most balanced course that I have ever been a part of.

The degree was very varied in content and application. Throughout the course I was thoroughly supported and encouraged. I gained many skills and was given the confidence to apply all that I had learnt. The field schools I took part in were exceptional. The staff were fantastic and always on hand to guide and help. I can honestly say that my degree at BU has been priceless to me, not only as a means of personal development but also professionally.

My degree has allowed me to pursue a career in teaching, and I find that I still endeavour to further my archaeological knowledge since completing my course. The degree gives students the skill to research a scientific argument and the knowledge to structure and be able to validate this. I was very proud of what I achieved throughout this degree and it has made me the scientist I am today.

The BSc Archaeology course at BU has a great friendly atmosphere and I envy anyone who is about to start it. It was a great time in my career and has truly shaped who I am today.
