Lawrence WolffI chose Bournemouth University (BU) because I was really keen on the sound of the BSc Applied Geography course. I knew I wanted to study Geography having done well at GCSE and A Levels. It was the 'Applied' aspect which appealed.

Zoe SmithI chose Bournemouth because of its great location close to the UNESCO Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site and the area encompassing heathland, woodland and coastal ecosystems - a biodiversity hot spot!

Kevin MatthewsI decided to study BSc (Hons) Archaeology at BU because it had an excellent reputation for archaeological studies and the course had a strong emphasis on practical work.

Ann ThorntonBack in 2006, I was reading 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' and read the sentence, "...the average lifespan is 750,000 hours." As I was in a very unfulfilling job at the time, I began to think about a change of career and making more of those precious hours.

Lewis ShawI chose Bournemouth University (BU) because it was a very good University with great facilities, experienced lecturers and in a fantastic location. I thoroughly enjoyed the forensic science course, especially the variety of subjects and topic areas that we covered.
