Gigapan at Stonehenge 2009

Archaeology Group staff used a Gigapan Epic to document the excavations and Stonehenge landscape in Gigapixel resolution. The images were primarily collected by Lawrence Shaw, a recent graduate of BSc (Hons) Archaeology at Bournemouth University.
The panoramas have been uploaded to a host website
for viewing, and can also be seen in Google Earth.
A global community can now experience the excavation process, view the wider Stonehenge landscape and interpret our results from this unique perspective.
