3-D Laser Scanning at the Stonehenge Riverside Project

Dr Kate Welham of the Archaeology Group  uses the Leica ScanStationExternal Link to record in sub-centimetre detail archaeological discoveries.

In conjunction with Mark Dover, the Project Data Manager, these incredibly detailed “point clouds” produce surfaces and images to illuminate these finds.
