Kate is the University’s Outreach Officer for Schools, Academies, Colleges and Young People in Care.  As part of the Aimhigher with BU team she manages the HE Experience and Information, Advice and Guidance (HEE-IAG) strand which provides campus visits, subject taster days, masters classes, talks and workshops on student life and finance for targeted young people; IAG sessions for their 'key influencers' - parents/carers and staff - are also delivered.

Kate is passionate about learning and particularly about 'fair access', giving everyone the opportunities and resources they need to reach their full potential and progress into further and higher education.  Contact Kate about the Aimhigher with BU programme for schools, academies and colleges.

As a current BU student, George is able to use first-hand information in talks and workshops on applying for university, student life and finance.  Originally coming from London, George's personal experience of leaving home for university is something he can share with school and college students, opening their eyes to the possibilities that await them in Higher Education.
