Aims and Features

The Centre for Wellbeing and Quality of Life (CeWQoL) at Bournemouth University was launched in October 2008. CeWQoL is a University-wide, inter-disciplinary and inter-professional centre, based in the School of Health and Social Care.


Aim

We provide a focus for high quality research, curricula and enterprise related to wellbeing and quality of life. We aim to improve inter-disciplinary health and social care practice within distinctive areas of University strength such as pain management, skincare, nursing, social care, interprofessional education and working, social capital, user involvement, foodservice, nutrition and exercise science.

  • Complementary work with other centres, such as the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Research & Education (CoPMRE).
