British dietetic association research award

Elizabeth Roberts, a part–time PhD student with the School of Health & Social Care, has recently won the 2010 British Dietetic Association Research Award. |
Elizabeth is supervised by Dr Jane Murphy and Professor Steven Ersser. She is conducting qualitative exploratory research of current care pathways for dysphagic stroke survivors. The purpose of this award is to provide funding to facilitate a research project for Registered Dietitians who are also working in practice. The award will enable Elizabeth to take a week out of her NHS work commitments to progress her research, specifically focussing on her writing and data collection in the field.
