Delegates from local not-for-profit organisations attended a one-day workshop on 5 June 2009, exploring how to make their organisations more business and marketing oriented.
BU lecturers Prof. Teck Eng, Dr. Yasmin Sekhon and Dr. Gordon Lui, hosted the event. In the afternoon, the delegates were introduced to Salesforce.com, a company working closely with charities and similar organisations.
The event was funded by an award from the Higher Education Innovation Fund.
