About the Centre

Talbot Campus at Night

The Centre for Legal Studies, which incorporates the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy and Management promotes research within the broadly defined discipline of law. Scholars in CLS are engaged in a range of approaches and methods.

Research is mainly organised within themes in which staff have a particular expertise for research and research degree supervision.  Colleagues benefit from a collaborative research culture which encourages working with scholars external to CLS.

Additionally, some members are actively involved in delivering content on the School's postgraduate law courses portfolio.

The Centre is part of the Business School at Bournemouth University.
