Cranborne House Purbeck House Student Village

Bournemouth University has a range of residential accommodation available during the summer vacation period.

Cranborne House

The Student Village

The Village consists of 250 rooms arranged in four, five and seven bedroom houses, situated in tree lined cul-de-sacs in the heart of the Talbot Campus.

The modern red brick houses comprise:

  • Single room (with washbasin)
  • Fully equipped kitchen and lounge
  • Communal showers and WCs
  • Computer terminal points to each room enabling free Internet access
  • There is a launderette on site as well as parking facilities and bicycle racks.

Hurn House

A traditional hall of residence conveniently situated at the centre of the Lansdowne Campus with 150 bedrooms.

  • Computer terminal point in each room enabling free Internet access
  • Communal kitchens, showers and toilets
  • Coin operated launderette on first floor
  • Bicycle racks.

Purbeck House

Purbeck House is a newly built residence for 518 students in cluster flats of five and located at Oxford Road, Bournemouth.

Close to Cranborne House and the Lansdowne.

  • Single en-suite study bedroom.
  • Fully equipped kitchen/dining/lounge area
  • CCTV and security fob building/flat entrances.
  • Close to Bournemouth Railway station
  • Coin operated launderette on ground floor.
