Bournemouth University Disaster Management Centre (BUDMC) provides world class education and training in disaster management in order to help reduce risks, build resilience and ensure rapid and sustainable recovery when disasters strike.

Our core activity is the design and delivery of short courses in disaster management tailored to your needs. These courses are backed up by our specialised modules and exercises which are designed to develop specific areas of your planning and capability.

Disaster Management is a multi-disciplinary subject. BUDMC provides a unique portal into the academic centres of excellence within Bournemouth University in order to provide you with the richest possible access to current research, knowledge and expertise in disaster management related subject areas.
