The School of Conservation Sciences has a long standing reputation for undertaking contract research and consultancy across the breadth of its academic footprint.

The School specialises in investigative field-based research or post-field processing of field data for a range of different government organisations from national statutory bodies such as English Heritage through to local authorities.

The School is highly successful in enhancing the teaching portfolio through professional practice and has recently received intuitional support from HEIF-3 for its work within this area.
