Environment Forensics Conference 16th-18th April 2007
The environmental in a legal & regulatory context - Environmental Forensics: a new frontierVenue: Bournemouth University Talbot Campus 16th-18th April 2007This three-day event explores the emerging discipline of environmental forensics and the legal context in which environmental scientists, geoscientist and environmental chemists now work. Environmental forensics draws together broad cross-sections of the earth and environmental science communities with those of environmental chemistry, policy and law. Our environment is increasingly regulated and environmental scientists are being asked to ensure due diligence, corporate governance, and to assess concepts such as environmental sustainability and liability. They will also be required to work within legal and regulatory frameworks and present environmental data within an appropriate context. These themes will be explored with a blend of keynote talks from leading international scientists and case studies from active practitioners. Why not join us and explore this new frontier? Please download a copy of the Conference Programme here. Sponsors and Support OrganisationsBournemouth University would like to thank the International Society of Environmental Forensics (ISEF), Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) and Fisher Scientific for sponsoring this conference.
