Who can submit papers and poster presentations?

Everyone! We are inviting papers and poster presentations from people on both museum studies and heritage courses and also those who are newly employed in the museums sector. Abstracts can be submitted using the following link. Please note all abstracts should be received by 14th August 2009. Click here for the submission form.

Requirements

For both paper and poster submission, abstracts must be no longer than 500 word and accompanied by a short, personal biography which will be used in the final Conference Programme.

Selection process

All abstracts received by 14th August 2009 will be used to guide the conference programme. The decision of inclusion of papers and posters will be overseen by a panel from Bournemouth University. The abstracts will be judged on a number of criteria including uniqueness, gender, geographical spread, the variety of disciplines, creativity and the contemporary museological topics tackled. All candidates will be informed by mid-August 2009.
