Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)The Doctor of Philosophy degree involves training in research methods and the execution of a substantial piece of supervised research into a defined topic. This will involve the high-level critical and systematic evaluation and investigation of a problem resulting in an independent and original contribution to knowledge, and the presentation of the results in the form of a written thesis. Minimum: 24 months full-time, maximum 60 months; minimum 36 months part-time, maximum 72 months. |
