The Centre of Postgraduate Medical Research & Education is pleased to announce its annual symposium. This symposium is aimed at doctors, GPs, allied health professionals, academics and anyone with an interest in medical research and education.

Keynote Speakers

  • Professor Kim Greaves (Consultant Cardiologist and Specialist in Cardiac Imaging Clinical Lead for Cardiology, Poole Hospital NHS Trust and Visiting Professor, Bournemouth University) – ‘Hypoglycemia Prevents the Favourable Increase in Myocardial Blood Flow Reserve Induced by Insulin in Type 1 Diabetes and in Healthy Humans’.
  • Martin Bromley (Chair, Clinical Human Factors Group) – ‘Elaine’s story: A powerful case for change?’.
  • Mr. Mark Emerton (Fellow NHS III, Clinical Advisor NPSA, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Leeds Teaching Hospitals) – ‘Human Factors Awareness: Delivering Service Improvement in Surgery’.
