The Centre for Qualitative Research presents a two day masterclass with Amedeo Giorgi of the Saybrook Graduate and Research Centre. This workshop will present the theory and practice of the phenomenological psychological method. Some basic concepts of phenomenology will be introduced and the method to be employed will be described and there will also be opportunity for hands-on work.

Performative Ethnography
American Kimberly Dark continues to work tirelessly on her abilities as a parent, poet, professor and raconteur. Kimberly's writing and performances have delighted and incited audiences at theatres and universities across North America and Europe for the past ten years. Her frequent themes are gender, sexuality, poverty, privilege, parenting and education. Her work blends humour, poetry, story-telling, education and social research in order to stimulate both social analysis and action. Her Masterclass at Bournemouth will include both performance by Kimberly and hands-on experience for participants.
