Enhancing Feedback using Waypoint
- A pilot project with 3 Schools (BS, CS, DEC) is being implemented this term with the aims of enhancing student feedback and saving academic time. This project uses software, called Waypoint, integrated into myBU which enables academics to use online criteria to mark assignments.

Lecture Capture: Echo 360

A pilot of Echo360 (lecture capture software) has been running throughout the last academic term and a CAP seminar was held in July. A new updated system will be shortly deployed to replace the existing kit in the Marconi Lecture Theatre and additional systems have been approved in the budget; so further lecture capture stations can be implemented within the University.

Student Unit Evaluation
- The Student Unit Evaluation (SUE) for 2009/10 has been made available via myBU. This year a software package, Waypoint, which is an integrated myBU tool is continued to be used
- The basic principle of using the core National Student Survey questions remains.

CAP Seminars
PG Cert Education Practice
- This programme commenced in October 2008 and aims to enhance the understanding of educational approaches that contribute to developing university students as self-motivated, independent, life-long learners. The programme provides guidance on effective ways to develop students as learners and helps academic staff to develop a professional reflective approach to educational practice.
