There is a plethora of resources available to incorporate into learning and teaching which can be discipline specific, shared with colleagues and with other Universities.

Creating and sourcing resources can take time and effort but can offer a rich variety to the learning and teaching experience.

Incorporating different resources into learning and teaching both online and face-to-face can:

  • Encourage the application of knowledge
  • Encourage debate

Instead of creating your own resources...

  • Why not ask colleagues whether they have created something similar for their subject-discipline that could be adapted?
  • Why not post a message on a discipline specific website/discussion board or locate resources yourself on the web. Try not to invent the wheel!
