Overview

Room DL120 has specialist e-learning resources, equipment and software available for staff use to support and enhance e-learning. The Library and Learning Support teams are continually updating their resources in order to support e-learning developments and projects. These resources also include a collection of journals and publications.

DL120 is located in the Michael Cobham Library, Talbot Campus and is available to book for workshops or staff use. Alternatively you can drop in and use the resources during work hours if the room is free.

What hardware is available?

The equipment and software available includes 12 multimedia PCs, scanners, a data projector and interactive whiteboard.

Interactive Whiteboard

Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) are a combination of data-projector, PC and a touch sensitive whiteboard.

Camtasia Logo

Screen Capture Station

Staff can record narrated presentations, software walkthroughs and online tutorials with our screen capture PC. The PC is equipped headphones, microphone, web cam, Camtasia Studio and Adobe Audition.

Electronic Response Systems

Enables students to interact with their lecturer and the material that is being delivered.

Flatbed Scanner

Digitize resources such as images and handouts using a high quality flatbed scanner.

Multiple Slide Scanner (up to 50 slides)

Digitize 35mm slides using the slide scanner. This equipment scans up to 50 slides which could then be inserted into PowerPoint to create a valuable e-learning resource.
