Equality schemes and commitments
To put into practice the BU commitment to DDE and to reflect sector practice we have signed three national equality schemes and commitments. These are:
- the Disability Two Ticks scheme
- DisabledGo access guides
- Mindful Employer charter
BU commitment to these schemes and commitments is currently reflected through information being included on its website, advertisements as well as other relevant publicity.

Bournemouth University has teamed up with a disability organisation called DisabledGo to provide people with disabilities information about its facilities and buildings.
