Academic Schools
We have organised our University into six very distinctive schools for study. Each school has its own focus and some of the country's leading professors behind it.
We are confident that the qualification you leave with will be relevant and of interest to potential employers due to our close relationships with them locally, nationally and internationally.
Bournemouth University has fantastic facilities for our students. Here are just some of the outstanding specialised resources you can expect to find here:
- TV/recording studios
- Modern lecture theatres
- Seminar rooms
- The Prototyping and Virtual Manufacture Centre
- Rose Cottage - a 'house' used to train our forensic students
- 24-hour computing centres
We have two campuses at BU: the Lansdowne Campus and the Talbot Campus. The Lansdowne Campus is in Bournemouth itself and the Talbot Campus, the larger of the two, is just a couple of miles away.
For more information about getting to the campuses, as well as information about parking, visit our pages on Transport and Maps.
