Student profiles
We know that you want to hear about BU from those who really matter – our current students! Please see below for profiles from our current Colombian students – we’ll let them do the rest of the talking!
Daniel Villa Acosta
MA Managing International Trade
I came to study at BU because of the level of education within the UK and multicultural experience. The best thing is the experience of studying with more than 25 different nationalities, and the support of the University at any time.
I am the American representative for ISA (International Students Association) on which we organised social events to get more people involved. I am also a member of the enterprise group where we assist people who are running their own business with different events. In those events we interact with those entrepreneurs and study how to start your own business.
The UK is a very good place to study and I have got an excellent opinion about the place. I like Bournemouth as it very clean and organised with nice people around and many international students.
When I finish my studies I would like to get experience working in a multinational company. At the same time develop the idea to start my own business and be able to apply my knowledge working in the International Trade area.
