Peter Espersen
BA (Hons) Scriptwriting for Film and Television
I came to study here, because of the course, BA Scriptwriting, as it simply doesn’t exist in Denmark. I had previously done an 8 month film-course so I knew exactly what I was looking for, and luckily I found it right here in Bournemouth. So far it has been great. I am now in the last term of my first year, and can honestly say, that I have learned more then I thought possible, when I first started.
Bournemouth itself is nice. The beaches are beautiful, the nightlife vivid and if you don’t mind spending a little time in the bus or car, the countryside is lovely. I, however, don’t get to experience that much of it, as I spend the majority of my spare time on floorball (a kind of indoor hockey) related things. I captain the Bournemouth team. We train about 4 times a week as we plan to enter the British league next year, and hopefully do well.
I am a member of a number of other clubs and societies, such as the Mediterranean Society and the International Students' Association. The international community here is really good, primarily thanks to the lovely people at the International Office.
