Kevin Mwachiro
MA Radio Production
I had been looking for a course that was both practical and academic. From the beginning I liked the hands-on approach to studying at Bournemouth. I got to meet radio practitioners from across the country and it was very challenging. It stretched me, helped me to use my creativity and changed my whole perception of Radio.
Bournemouth has such a diversity of cultures. It was amazing and the nightlife was excellent. It is a very scenic place, with friendly people. Being by the sea was a big plus too!
I really enjoyed living in the UK. The British sense of humour is brilliant, the countryside is beautiful and there is so much rich culture to appreciate. Forget about the weather, that’s distinctly English!
Get ready to learn not just academically but from your friends, the British way of life, their history and be open to the challenges and experiences that come your way.
Be prepared to learn, grow and have fun!
