Students from Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada
The International Programs Office within the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University (MUN) and the Business School at Bournemouth University (BU) have an agreement for mutual study exchanges.
You can apply for an exchange if you have successfully completed your first year of study. Your exchange will usually take place in your second year of study.
Funding
Please check with the International Programs Office if you can apply for a bursary or other forms of financial aid.
Length of exchange
All study exchanges take place in semester 1 (usually October to January / February).
How to apply
- Discuss the possibility of a study exchange with the International Programs Office at Memorial University.
- If you are selected to take part in the exchange you will need to apply formally to BU.
- Download the Memorial application form and learning agreement . Please save these documents to your own computer before starting to complete them. You must fill them out electronically and then print out and submit through the CIBS office. Make sure that you get CIBS’s signature (and the signature of any other academic contacts, if appropriate) on the learning agreement.
- Closing date for applications is 30 June 2009 for October 2009 start (in the same year).
Accommodation
There is no guaranteed accommodation for exchange students, however, our Accommodation Service will try to help as much as possible with advice on renting accommodation in Bournemouth or details of any rooms which may be available through the University. Once your exchange has been confirmed you can email the Accommodation Service. Please advise them that you are an exchange student.
