The Business School
Study Abroad Fee Paying Course
BU’s Business School is increasing its reputation at international level as a leading provider of contemporary business education. The Business School are pleased to offer short term fee paying study options at undergraduate level for international students (non EU / UK) who would like to study at BU outside of an exchange agreement.

Study Options:
The Business School offers undergraduate courses in Accounting & Finance, Business & Management and Law. Depending on your academic background and English language (academic) proficiency you have the opportunity to come onto either the 1st year (Level C), 2nd year (Level I), or 3rd Year (Level H) with a choice of 3 study routes:
- Route 1: Term 1 only
- Route 2: Term 2 only
- Route 3: full academic year (Terms 1 & 2)

Term 1
- International Student Orientation Programme – Saturday 18 September 2010 for one week
- Induction to Business School – Monday 27 September 2010 for one week
- Teaching period - Monday 4 October 2010 to Friday 17 December 2010
- Assessment period – Monday 10 January 2011 – Friday 14 January 2011
Term 2
- Induction to Business School – Monday 10 January 2011 – Friday 14 January 2011
- Teaching period - Monday 17 January 2011 to Thursday 31 March 2010
- Revision period – Tuesday 3 May 2011 – Friday 13 May 2011
- Assessment period – Monday 16 May 2011 – Friday 3 June 2011
Costs of Undergraduate Study Abroad
Prices for 2010-11 academic year*
Level C
- Unit cost (20 BU credits) - £1,750
- 1 term of study (based on 3 units) - £5,250
- 2 terms of study (based on 6 units worth 20 BU credits each) - £10,500
Level I
- Unit cost (20 BU credits) - £1,666.66
- 1 term of study (based on 3 units) - £5,000
- 2 terms of study (based on 6 units worth 20 BU credits each) - £10,000
Level H
- Unit cost (20 BU credits) - £1,333.33
- 1 term of study (based on 3 units) - £4,000
- 2 terms of study (based on 6 units worth 20 BU credits each) - £8,000
*These prices are for the 2010-2011 academic year and there will be a slight incremental rise for subsequent years. The prices shown above are for the Business Studies course and vary for the other undergraduate courses. Prices available upon request.
