Citizenship Scholarship
January 2010 entry
(UK/EU)
Community is at the heart of everything BU does. This isn't restricted to the student body; it also extends to the wider community in Bournemouth and Poole. If you can demonstrate you've contributed to the local projects at home or abroad, there may be help on offer with a Citizenship Scholarship award.
- Offered to students who can demonstrate they have contributed significantly to community-related projects outside any formal education or work.
- There are five Citizenship Scholarships available, shared to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- The value of the award is £1,000 per level of study (see the application form for more details) and is paid in two instalments.
- You must be a student from the UK or the EU to apply but it does not matter if you are studying a full or part-time course
- All taught postgraduate courses offered at BU are covered.
You can find out more and apply for the Scholarship by downloading the application form here:
The deadline for applications is 26 February 2010.
Please note that you may be required to attend an interview. You will be informed of the outcome within two weeks of completion of the selection process.
