Paying your tuition fees
September 2009 or January 2010 entry
(UK/EU/Non-EU)
There are a number of ways to pay your course fees, which are outlined below. You can pay by cash, cheque, credit or debit card, banker's draft and/or bank transfer.
Arrangements to pay your tuition fees must be agreed before enrolment and can be completed before you arrive. If you're a student from the European Union, you are eligible for a discount on your tuition fees and/or a scholarship award, where appropriate. To see if you qualify, see the points below.
Ways to pay
By cash
We only accept pounds sterling for cash payments.
By cheque
Cheques must be made payable to Bournemouth University.
By credit or debit card
We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards and Delta, Electron, Mastero and Solo debit cards.
Going to study a part-time? Ask about our 8 instalment payment plan ( T&C apply).
By banker's draft
Banker's drafts must be made to Bournemouth University.
Tuition fees can be paid in person, or by post.

Additional information
UK/EU Students
If you are a student from England, Scotland, Wales or from a country within the EU you may pay your fees (if you have either elected not to apply for tuition fee loan or do not qualify for a loan) then subject to your (elected) contribution being over £600 you may pay by two instalments by credit card. If you pay the full amount of your tuition fee at enrolment, you will be entitled to a reduction of 5%.
Island Students (Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man)
If you are a student from Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man you may pay your fees subject to your contribution being over £600 you may pay by two instalments by credit card. For Island students no discount are offered . If you pay the full amount of your tuition fee at enrolment, you will be entitled to a reduction of 5%.
International Students (Non-EU)
If you are a student from outside the EU it is possible to pay your fees in two instalments. Details will be provided once you have accepted an offer of a place at the University. If you pay the full amount of your tuition fee at enrolment, you will be entitled to a reduction of 5%.
If you are a US student in receipt of Federal Loans, arrangements can be made for you to pay your fees in three instalments to tie in with receipt of your loan monies
