Faheem Nawaz

MSc Wireless Network and Mobile Communications

International student from Pakistan

Faheem Nawaz studied MSc Wireless Network and Mobile Communications within the School of Design, Engineering & Computing at BU (this course has recently been renamed to MSc Wireless & Mobile Networks).

Faheem always had a passion for mobile networks and the course he studied at BU covered this area in depth which allowed him to further his knowledge and skills. He was also attracted to studying at BU because of the peaceful, beautiful location & surrounding area.

Faheem also undertook a placement year as part of this course working at Vodafone UK:

I enjoyed everything about my placement. Vodafone is well known throughout the world and working at such a company under some of the top industry professionals was a unique opportunity and helped to improve my technical skills

Faheem felt that he was well prepared for a career within mobile networks and after graduating from this course Faheem was offered a job within Vodafone UK and is now working as a Performance Incident Management Engineer.
