Bournemouth University International Partnership Scholarship: Capital Normal University (CNU) China
September 2012 entry
This scholarship is awarded annually to students from Capital Normal University (CNU) with the highest academic performance progressing to a range of undergraduate or postgraduate programmes in the School of Design, Engineering and Computing.
Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
You must be resident in China at the time of application. You must also have successfully completed relevant programmes at Capital Normal University, China.
To which courses does this scholarship apply?
All Bachelors courses (final year entry) and all Masters courses in the School of Design, Engineering and Computing. Please click here to check courses available for 2012 entry.
How much is the scholarship worth?
- 2 x £1000 payable for each academic year of the course (where an academic profile of 60% or over is achieved in continuation years). Excluding work placement and repeat years
- An unlimited number of Tuition Fee Scholarships offering a fee reduction of 5%.
How is this scholarship paid?
The two available CNU Scholarships will be paid by a reduction in tuition fee. The Tuition Fee Scholarships are awarded by a 5% fee reduction.
How many scholarships are awarded annually?
Two CNU Scholarships (one for Bachelor degree courses and one for Masters degree courses) and an unlimited number of Tuition Fee Scholarships.
Other information about this scholarship
- Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarship
- Financial need cannot be taken into consideration
How do I apply?
There is no formal application process for this scholarship which will be automatically awarded to the applicant for September 2012 with the highest grade average and who has met all their conditions of offer by the 21 September 2012. In the event that two students have the same highest score, their IELTS score will then be taken into consideration.
When will I hear if I have been successful?
The successful applicant will be notified within 4 weeks of the decision being made.
