Bournemouth University International Partnership Scholarship: Beijing Wuzi University (BWU), China

This scholarship is awarded annually to the student with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) progressing to the third year of an eligible BU programme from the Beijing Wuzi University (BWU), China.

Which nationalities may apply for this scholarship?

You must be a national of and resident in China. You must also have successfully completed the first two years, or first three years of a qualifying programme at the Beijing Wuzi University in China.

• BA (Hons) Business and Management (Top-up degree)
• BA (Hons) Finance and Law (Top-up degree)
• BA (Hons) International Business Communication (Top-up degree)
• BA (Hons) International Finance (Top-up degree) - Subject to approval

How much is the scholarship worth?

£1000 payable for each academic year of the course (excluding the work placement or repeat year).

How is this scholarship paid?

Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee or by cheque.

How many scholarships are awarded annually?

One.

Other information about this scholarship:

• Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarship
• Financial need cannot be taken into consideration.

How do I apply?

There is no formal application process for this scholarship which will be automatically awarded to the applicant for September 2011 with the highest GPA and who has met all their conditions of offer by the 20 September 2011. In the event that two students have the same highest GPA score, their IELTS score will then be taken into consideration.

When will I hear if I have been successful?

The successful applicant will be notified within 4 weeks of the decision being made.
