Other funding opportunities

If you can anticipate facing financial hardship during your time at BU, you can apply for other sources of support to help. There are opportunities for UK students, international students and students coming to the University from the USA.

Access To Learning Funds

Disabled Students Allowance

International disabled students are not entitled to a grant from the UK government to cover any disability support costs, so prior to entry, you should make every effort to secure funding from your own country or sponsor to pay for any support requirements.

International Students

The British Council gives information about sources of funding for international students.

Students from the United States

Students from the United States who wish to apply their Federal Loan/Aid to their studies at BU may do so. The University's OPE ID is G33503.
