Charlotte Manu
Course: LLB Law
Thoughts on BU:
“The combination of sand and fresh air in Bournemouth helps you study better!” chuckles Charlotte Manu when asked why she chose to study at Bournemouth University. She adds: “The University had a very friendly, welcoming feel.”
The LLB Law undergraduate has not been disappointed with her choice. “BU has lived up to my expectations extremely well,” she says. “The academic staff are amazing and the facilities we have on campus are great. The fact that everything is on site is a real bonus. The library is fantastic, as there are loads of books with many copies available, which greatly helps your understanding of the subject.”
Charlotte has loved studying law, and is pleased by the help staff give to students. “The support you receive from staff is great. If you have a problem, they are really happy to help until you understand. The seminars that are part of LLB Law are a great place to raise any issues you have with the subject.”
When she graduates from the LLB course, Charlotte intends to stay in Bournemouth. “I’m going to continue on to do the Legal Practice Course at BU. Then I’ll go on further to train as a solicitor and join a law firm.”
Charlotte concludes: “I'd definitely recommend BU to prospective students. The University is fab and the surrounding area is amazing.”
