Tessa Stevens

Thoughts about BU:

Final year Nutrition student Tessa Stevens is very enthusiastic about her course and about Bournemouth University. “I chose BU for lots of reasons, primarily because the Nutrition course here seemed perfect for me,” she says. “It’s a lovely atmosphere here at BU. There’s no other place I’d rather be at uni.”

Indeed, Tessa finds it hard to choose what has impressed her most. “The atmosphere, the facilities, the location!” she enthuses. “Bournemouth is a great place, the uni is fab and I’ve made so many amazing friends. So everything, really!”

“All the staff respond really well to email and I’ve had amazing support from them throughout my time in BU,” she says. “I have loved my course, especially the second and third years. It has broadened my knowledge of nutrition and has prepared me for my chosen profession.

“The main library in Talbot Campus is brilliant, all the floors provide something different. The access to journals online is so helpful when you’re not on campus.”
