Partners
To ensure you have access to a wide a range of education opportunities, the majority of our foundation degrees and some Top-up degrees are delivered at local HE colleges and training facilities. This means you get the benefit of smaller class sizes, a subtler transition from college to university and gain a Bournemouth University degree.
Based in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire, our Partners offer the same academic and personal support services, as you would expect to find at BU including:
- Open Access IT and Library facilities
- Financial advice
- A range of accommodation options
- Childcare facilities
- Access to all BU facilities whenever you wish
- Password protected online access to library resources with an inter-library loan system
- Access to a generous package of BU bursaries and scholarships
- Social and Students' Union events - a representative from BU will visit the partner colleges regularly to help students with any queries or concerns they may have
Centrally located colleges benefit from the usual amenities you would expect, including fitness centres, cinemas, shops and bars. The more rural colleges are set in acres of countryside offering students the specialist animal care, landscaping and outdoor recreation facilities required for such courses.
Each Partner has its own individual style and personality so please visit them at one of their many open days scheduled each year to gain a better understanding of what it is like to live and study with us.
