Mini Open Days
If you missed out on attending one of our main Open Days, or maybe you want to visit us again, we offer a range of Mini Open Days in January and February.
These are great for anyone who wants to visit us before making a decision on their UCAS application.
Our Mini Open Days include:
- Presentations to help answer any of your fees & funding and accommodation questions, as well as a student life talk delivered by our students.
- Guided tours around our Campus. For those visiting the Talbot Campus, you will also get the opportunity to view the on-site accommodation in the Student Village.
- A small exhibition area where you will get to meet staff and students from the Academic School in which your course is taught. Please be aware you may not get the chance to speak to a lecturer from your course, but you will be able to get a feel for what BU is about.
Upcoming Mini Open Days
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| Wednesday 13 February | Mini Open Day - Lansdowne Campus (Health and Social Care courses only) |
During these events there won’t be the opportunity to visit our student accommodation on the Lansdowne Campus or in Poole. However there are videos available that show you all the accommodation options on our YouTube channel.
If you are interested in a course within our School of Health and Social Care you will need to register for an event based on our Lansdowne Campus, all other courses will need to register for an event on our Talbot Campus.
Self-Guided Tours
If you can't attend any of our Mini Open Days but still want to visit Bournemouth University, we can offer you a self-guided tour of Talbot Campus. The tour allows you to explore our facilities and buildings independently.
You can download our self-guided tour booklet (PDF – 878KB) or collect one from Poole House Reception when you arrive. For information on travelling to Bournemouth University campuses please see our transport and maps pages.
