This masterclass is designed to support academia and health professionals in their effort to improve their academic publishing. For some participants this may be around writing up their research findings, for others it might be publishing about the practice and teaching innovations.

During this one–day masterclass the editors of three leading health journals will work together with the participants in an interactive way to provide hands–on advice on the research publication process.

Topics covered will include:

  • How to draft manuscripts and respond to (difficult) reviewers.
  • How to organise a team of several authors.
  • How to position a manuscript and define its contribution to theory or knowledge.
  • How change an interesting idea into an actual publication.

The seminar will be limited to 25 participants to ensure a high degree of interactivity between the participants and the editors.
