News Award-winning Gala for PQSW
More Awards for the Centre For Post Qualifying Social Work

Congratulations to Keith Brown and the Post-Qualifying Social Work team from HSC who are celebrating after their award-winning evening at the National Training Award gala at London's Guildhall.

Not only did the team win a 2005 National Training Award, they were also presented with a Special Award, sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development for the Best Provision of Continuous Personal Development Training and Education to Industry in the UK.

To top off an extraordinary evening, Keith Brown, Head of Post Qualification Practice Based Learning and Social Work Programmes was awarded the Linda Ammon Memorial Trophy as the individual who, in the eyes of the judges, has made the greatest individual contribution to Training and Development within the whole of UK industry.

"I am delighted and very surprised to say that I was awarded this very prestigious award," said Keith. "This has all been quite a shock as you can imagine and very humbling."
