How would Occupational Therapists define Health and Wellbeing?

Occupational Therapists believe in the therapeutic power of Occupations (subjective experience of activities). It is necessary for people to achieve a
balance in the three key areas of Pleasure, Productivity and Restoration, in order to achieve wellbeing. (Pierce, 2003) Occupational Therapists help people to participate in occupations by adapting the occupation, the environment or by developing the person’s skills.
