Call for Abstracts
The Centre for Qualitative Research at Bournemouth University is pleased to announce its biannual conference to be held on 8th to the 10th September 2008 at Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus. We look forward to an exciting three days that are designed to appeal to a broad variety of scholars and practitioners from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. This concern to support disciplinary diversity is reflected in the choice of our keynote speakers which include:
- Rosemarie Anderson - Institute of Transpersonal Psychology
- Emma Bell - University of Bath
- Kathy Charmaz - Sonoma State University
- Johnny Saldaña - Arizona State University

Abtract submissions closed.
Abstracts are invited from scholars and practitioners engaged in qualitative research from a range of disciplines which may include health, social care, psychology, sociology, anthropology, media studies, education, organisational studies and any other disciplines through which qualitative research is being advanced.
Abstracts of up to 170 words are invited for:
- 30-minute papers (including 10 minutes of questions)
- 90-minute symposia (minimum 3 members)
- Posters
On the following themes:
- Health and Social Care
- Education
- Organisational Studies
- Epistemology, Methodology and Ethics
- Performative Social Science (further information about submitting an abstract for this theme)
