Transitions in Family Health and Wellbeing: Contribution of education, practice development and partnership

Transitions in Family Health and Wellbeing

Wednesday 4 July 2007 – Lansdowne Campus

We welcome contributions to this inaugural free 1st symposium of transitions in family health and well being. The day is designed to disseminate current practice innovations in care and research and will be a partnership event between University and service providers in the health and social care field. It will appeal to practitioners, managers and academics in these areas, in both primary and secondary care settings. Three key themes will be presented in plenary, concurrent and poster sessions and may include both primary research and excellence in clinical practices. These are:

  • transitional experiences e.g. change in family structure, normal birth
  • transitions in role e.g. narratives, students voices, new graduate experience
  • transitions in care. e.g. hospital to home, home to residential care

Closing date for abstracts: 29th March 2007
